Description
Andrean High School seeks Internet access with symmetrical bandwidth of approximately 2 Gbps, scalable to approximately 5 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput to its head-end at the school. The proposal must include laddered pricing in approximately 1 Gbps increments, five public IPv4 addresses with pricing for additional addresses, fiber handoff, and any provider-owned onsite equipment needed to deliver the service. Basic firewall service is required as part of the Internet access service; bidders may separately price advanced firewall, DDoS protection, CIPA-compliant filtering, IPv6 addresses, resiliency, and other available features. Respondents must provide a proposed SLA covering service descriptions and measurement, 99.99% network availability efforts, packet loss, latency, jitter, 24x7x365 trouble reporting, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic-trouble remedies, and monthly and annual service reporting. Responses must include detailed service and construction information, complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing by service tier, any price escalator, three similar-service references, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. The contract is expected to have a three-year base term with up to two voluntary one-year extensions, contingent on E-Rate funding.
