Description
The City of Morro Bay is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to destroy two existing monitoring wells and construct five new monitoring wells supporting the City's indirect potable reuse program. The work includes traffic control, signage, public notifications, stormwater control, and all other work necessary to deliver complete and operational infrastructure in accordance with the project plans and specifications, City of Morro Bay standards, and Caltrans standards. Bidders must hold a California contractor's license with classification C57. The project requires prevailing wages, Department of Industrial Relations registration, and compliance monitoring. Bid security of at least 10% of the total bid amount is required; the successful bidder must furnish payment and faithful performance bonds. The estimated construction cost is $150,000, and the allotted construction time is 60 working days.
