Description
The Ohio Adjutant General's Department is soliciting demolition of three multistory barracks buildings and one single-story mechanical building totaling approximately 80,000 square feet. The structures are slab-on-grade reinforced-concrete and block buildings constructed in 1953. The work also includes removal of approximately 2,937 square yards of concrete sidewalk and 1,180 linear feet of steam tunnel or utility chase to depths of up to six feet. The tunnels and utility chases contain native soil, construction debris, black steam pipe, and steel or iron manholes; these materials must be removed and the excavations replaced with appropriate fill material.
