Description
Bulloch County is soliciting sealed bids from GDOT-prequalified contractors for construction of approximately 1.96 miles of the S&S Greenway Phase 3 shared-use path and approximately 1.94 miles of base and paving work on Josh Hagin Road. The work includes grading, aggregate base, recycled asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks and drainage structures, storm drainage pipe, traffic control, pavement markings, signs, erosion and sedimentation control, landscaping, irrigation, benches, bicycle racks, bollards, a drinking fountain, and related trailhead improvements. The project includes construction of the Grimshaw Trailhead restroom building, pump house, pavilion, trailhead sign, and associated utilities and site work. The contractor must be GDOT-prequalified or, for bids of $2,000,000 or less, a GDOT-registered subcontractor; provide a 5% bid bond; and comply with federal-aid requirements, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, Buy America, DBE provisions, E-Verify, and GDOT specifications. Substantial completion is required by December 31, 2027, and final acceptance by January 31, 2028.
