Description
Los Angeles County seeks as-needed supply and delivery of residential high-pressure stainless-steel multi-jet water meters in 3/4-inch, 1-inch, 1 1/2-inch, and 2-inch sizes. The solicitation lists quantities of 50, 50, 20, and 20 meters, respectively, and specifies technical requirements including AWWA standards, stainless-steel construction, pressure ratings, and manual or electronic register options. Equivalent products may be offered if they meet the functional requirements and are supported with documentation. Delivery is to the Waterworks District field offices in Lancaster and Malibu, as directed by the ordering department. Bidders must be the manufacturer or an authorized dealer/distributor of the proposed equipment. Authorized resellers must provide the required manufacturer and/or distributor authorization letters. Bidders must also document at least three years of relevant sales or service experience within the last five years and provide either two reference letters or two verifiable references. The agreement has an initial three-year term, with up to two additional one-year extensions at the County’s option. The solicitation states estimated annual consumption of $631,572.93, with no minimum purchase guaranteed.
