Description
Bob Hope Charter School 1 is soliciting proposals for Category One leased lit fiber internet access and data transmission services for Funding Year 2027–2028. The request covers six service connections with capacities ranging from 5 Gbps to 10 Gbps and one connection ranging from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, serving seven school and administrative demarcation points. Equivalent, higher-quality, or more cost-effective service proposals may be considered. Installation, configuration, and technical support may be requested depending on the proposed service, and eligible installation costs may be paid over four years. The contract term is three years. Proposals must comply with Texas Education Agency financial accountability guidelines, and vendors must have a valid or temporary SPIN. All proposals must be submitted electronically through the designated RFP system; submissions outside that system may be deemed nonresponsive. Vendors must register for system access, and questions must be submitted through the RFP process for public posting and response by addendum.
