Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting bids for the purchase of six replacement 225 kVA electrical service transformers in conjunction with an electrical-service upgrade for six inmate dormitories. Deliveries must be coordinated with the selected electrical-service upgrade contractor and made to Northpoint Training Center or another designated location within 100 miles. Each transformer may be requested immediately or up to six months after its order. The solicitation identifies an estimated value of $320,000. The project listing also states an estimated project length of 180 days to substantial completion plus 30 days to final completion; this appears to describe the associated electrical-service upgrade project rather than a separate term for the transformer purchase.
