Description
British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority plans to procure services in two scopes: mobile radio site services and telecommunications tower services. The mobile radio site scope includes replacing end-of-life infrastructure and associated equipment, warehouse storage and staging, transportation and disposal, installation or repair of prefabricated site infrastructure and supporting telecom and power systems, equipment integration, and radio maintenance. The tower scope includes inspection, audits and reporting, maintenance and repairs, minor structural reinforcement, and installation or repair of tower-mounted telecommunications equipment and related systems. Suppliers may propose on one or both scopes, and the utility anticipates awarding approximately two to four suppliers overall, with up to two suppliers per scope. The notice describes an upcoming RFP, not an open request for proposals; the RFP is expected in November 2026. The anticipated agreement term is five years, with possible extensions of up to ten additional years.
