Description
The United Nations Development Programme seeks an individual national consultant to conduct a comprehensive trade landscape and value-chain study for Sierra Leone, with particular attention to trade and investment opportunities involving Japan and other strategic trading partners. The assignment includes reviewing trade policies and agreements; analyzing trade flows, export competitiveness, market access, logistics, standards, financing, and regulatory barriers; identifying high-potential products and value chains; assessing the export readiness of women- and youth-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises; and identifying investment, technology-transfer, and business-partnership opportunities. The consultant must develop an inception report, draft and final comprehensive trade landscape and value-chain reports, and participate in a validation workshop. The assignment is expected to comprise 40 working days spread over three months after contract signature, with payments tied to the inception report, draft report, and final report. Applicants must submit a technical proposal, curriculum vitae or P11 form, financial proposal and cost breakdown, references, and the required offer and declaration materials through the supplier portal.
