Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from businesses capable of providing nine artificially intelligent vending machines under a proposed firm-fixed-price purchase order. The equipment must include real-time inventory tracking, remote monitoring, touchscreen interfaces, and cashless payment systems with daily automatic deposits, and must accommodate consumer goods such as snacks, beverages, ready-to-eat food, personal care items, electronics, over-the-counter medications, and other convenience products. The requested equipment consists of two compact single-door AI smart coolers, one high-capacity AI smart cooler with freezer capability, one premium single-door AI smart cooler, and five large double-door AI smart coolers, each with specified dimensions, capacities, shelving, electrical, glazing, and temperature requirements. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only, not a solicitation; respondents must answer six questions concerning business identity and SAM UEI, quotation interest, proposed products, manufacturer or non-manufacturer status, compliance with the Non-Manufacturers Rule, and an estimated total product cost.
