Description
Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas is soliciting qualifications from architects to provide on-call professional services for renovation projects with estimated costs under $2 million. The selected firm will be awarded a three-year contract renewable for four additional years, and the college intends to select one firm. Required services include programming, feasibility assessments, graphic presentation, site planning, interior design, cost evaluation, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and project closeout. Potential projects include roof and envelope repairs, HVAC and mechanical renovations, classroom and laboratory renovations, accessibility improvements, restroom and office renovations, building-code and life-safety improvements, parking and site improvements, facility assessments, small additions, emergency repairs, deferred-maintenance projects, and preliminary programming or feasibility studies. Responses must address relevant higher-education and small rural community-college experience, Arkansas Delta experience, the approach to on-call services and project management, firm and team qualifications, references, and past performance. Required submission materials include licensure or eligibility documentation for all team-member firms, professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, specified project and reference lists, the PCCUA Vendor Response Package, the Combined Certifications Form, the Contract and Grant Disclosure Form, and an EEO policy or written response.
