Description
Greene County is soliciting bids for replacement battery strings for APC Galaxy VS and Galaxy 3500 UPS units. The listed battery purchases include installation during normal business hours and disposal of the old battery cartridges. The pricing form also requests annual Advantage Ultra service-plan pricing for seven UPS units. The service scope includes one annual preventive-maintenance visit, inspections and functional checks of UPS and/or PDU systems, review of alarms and event logs, required circuit-board updates, and a graphical site report. The vendor must provide a Schneider Electric-certified service technician and diagnose, repair, replace defective parts, and test the systems as needed.
