Description
The Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is requesting proposals for construction of Section 4 of the Quebec Central Railway, extending from PM 64.05 to PM 86.39 between Thetford Mines and Sacré-Cœur-de-Jésus, across several municipalities in the Les Appalaches regional county municipality. The estimated contract value is more than C$50 million, and the estimated contract period is 23 months. Eligible bidders must have an establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by the applicable trade agreements and must hold an applicable ISO registration certificate, or certification attestation, issued by an accredited registrar whose scope covers the required construction work. The procurement is an open competitive Request for Proposal subject to the WTO Government Procurement Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement, and Canada–European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.
