Description
The City of Mesquite is soliciting bids for roadway maintenance involving concrete panel replacement on N Peachtree Road, Gross Road, and Clay Mathis Road. The project includes approximately 25,000 square yards of subgrade preparation and replacement of 8-inch concrete pavement with monolithic curb, along with concrete sidewalk and driveway replacement, stamped concrete pavement, excavation, recycled concrete flex base, pavement markings, raised pavement markers, ADA ramps, sod, inlet-top reconstruction, utility-appurtenance adjustments, electronic message boards, traffic control, and stormwater pollution prevention measures. The contract requires a 180-calendar-day construction period. Bidders must submit the completed proposal and bid forms, required certifications and affidavits, a bid bond or equivalent 5% bid security, and other documents identified in the solicitation. The apparent low bidder must provide qualification and financial information within 48 hours after bid opening; these post-opening qualification materials are not part of the initial bid submission.
