Description
Center City District is conducting a two-stage procurement to select an exclusive food and beverage operator for the renovated Cafe Cret. Stage 1 is a Request for Qualifications used to identify organizations meeting the minimum qualifications; qualifying firms will be invited to submit a detailed Stage 2 Request for Proposal. The selected operator will provide cafe and food-and-beverage operations, including concept development, sample menus and pricing, point-of-sale and billing systems with third-party integration and automated reporting, and coordination with the architect and construction team on kitchen layout, equipment, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment. If alcohol is included in the proposed concept, the operator must independently obtain a Pennsylvania State Liquor License at its own cost. Respondents must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, financial capacity to fund pre-opening buildout, FF&E, and at least three months of employee salaries and benefits, and the ability to meet applicable licensing and insurance requirements. Only organizations that register and receive the RFQ package through the registration process may bid.
