Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks information from organizations capable of furnishing the labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required for the new manufacture of Cell, Assembly, Optical, NSN 5855-01-442-6413, part number 268788. The anticipated effort includes procurement or manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation and packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also need to provide supply-chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead-time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing source and material-shortage management, and shipment of serviceable assets. The government may use responses to determine whether a future procurement is set aside for small businesses or competed openly, and multiple awards may be made. This is market research only and is not a solicitation or request for proposals; unit prices would be established only if a contract is later awarded.
