Description
The City seeks suppliers for electrical parts, equipment, tools, and materials used primarily by the Worcester Public Schools Facilities Department for routine maintenance and upkeep across school sites. The bid sheet requires pricing for all listed items, along with manufacturer discounts; items must be new, and bidders must identify the products offered. Multiple awards may be made to as many as three responsive and responsible bidders. The contract is for one year, with options for a second and third year at the City's discretion. Suppliers must have an operational office, branch, or warehouse with adequate inventory in Central Worcester County, Massachusetts, and must have operated there for the preceding three consecutive years. Bidders must have at least three references for similar supplies provided within the specified prior year. Routine orders must be delivered within 48 hours; emergency orders must be delivered within two hours or available for immediate local pickup. The bid form also requires the bidder to submit its completed pricing and certification forms, including the applicable business and compliance certifications.
