Description
The United States Department of the Navy is seeking repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and acceptance of 12 interference blankers, part number 33088-502, NSN 7R-5895-015163875-QF, in accordance with OEM technical drawings and publications. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to return the items to Ready for Issue condition. The required repair turnaround time is 57 days after receipt of each asset, and the induction expiration date is 365 days after contract award. The requirement is restricted to previously approved sources because the item is flight critical and the Government's available technical data is inadequate for full and open competition. Alternate sources must obtain Government source approval through the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure and submit all required qualification data with their proposal; proposals lacking the required source-approval information will not be considered. The contractor must maintain an appropriate quality system, configuration-management process, calibration system, enclosed storage, and repair and inspection procedures.
