Description
The contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, applicable permits, and incidentals to improve the accessibility, safety, and functionality of a former church building being renovated for retail use. Work includes removing and replacing entrance ramps and landings; installing handrails, railings, and guards; replacing front and rear exterior doors; installing panic hardware, an automatic door opener, accessibility push-button controls, and interior exit and emergency lights; and completing related framing, finishing, weatherproofing, repairs, cleanup, and waste disposal. Work must comply with applicable building, accessibility, fire and life-safety, electrical, and workplace safety requirements. The contractor must provide a lump-sum price excluding GST, show GST separately, break out labor and material costs, and submit a proposed schedule, start and completion dates, materials description, exclusions, subcontractor list if applicable, warranty information, proof of insurance, WCB clearance, and any assumptions or optional items. Quotations are evaluated on price, contractor experience, schedule, and local supplier preference. The pricing form is included in the solicitation. The project commencement and completion dates are described as estimates; the stated completion date appears inconsistent with the November 2026 commencement date.
