Description
The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for mental health evaluations. These evaluations are needed to determine the reliability, stability, and trustworthiness of individuals undergoing security clearance processes, particularly when mental health conditions or substance abuse are indicated. The objective is to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will allow DCSA and other Department of Defense entities to issue task orders for these services. The contract will require vendors to identify and secure qualified mental health professionals, such as clinical psychologists and psychiatrists, who can conduct evaluations and provide detailed written reports. These professionals must be approved by the government staff and may need to testify at administrative hearings. Services may be required within the continental United States (CONUS) and potentially outside (OCONUS), with a preference for evaluations to be conducted at the professional's location or within a 150-mile radius of the individual being evaluated. Telehealth evaluations are also permissible with approval.
