Description
The Opportunity Charter School is soliciting proposals for fully managed dedicated Internet access with transport service, offering committed bandwidth from 2 Gbps through 5 Gbps download and upload. Service must be dedicated to the school, free of usage caps or throttling, and terminate at the building’s MDF demarcation point rather than merely at the property line. Proposals should address static IP addresses, router lease options, demarcation equipment, and all delivery, construction, permitting, pathway, and right-of-way costs. Services are needed beginning July 1, 2027. The school will consider month-to-month service and contracted options, with requested pricing for 36-month and 60-month terms and voluntary two-year extensions. Proposals must identify monthly recurring, non-recurring, and any special construction charges, comply with applicable E-Rate requirements, and certify that proposed services and equipment do not involve covered communications equipment or services from Huawei, ZTE, or other prohibited companies.
