Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division is seeking to procure specific brand-name hardware for Module Support Equipment Racks (MSER). This procurement is being conducted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using commercial item procedures. The required hardware includes various electrical connectors, hook-up wire, heat sinks, cable clamps, and DIN rail components. The solicitation specifies that these particular brand-name items are mandatory due to strict compatibility constraints and the need for exact form, fit, and function to integrate with existing installed hardware. All current electrical designs and software development have been engineered based on the proprietary specifications of these exact brand-name materials, making them the minimum requirement for the government. Offerors must be authorized resellers or distributors of the specified brand-name items and must provide documentation from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to confirm this authorization. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. All costs, including shipping and freight to Dahlgren, VA, as well as any tariff or duty charges, must be included in the quoted price. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
