Description
Renewable Water Resources is soliciting proposals from a construction manager at risk for preconstruction and construction services for the Augusta Grove Regional Pump Station and Force Main project. The project will convey wastewater between treatment facility basins and provide additional wet-weather storage. Major elements include conveyance and equalization pump stations, a wet well, variable-frequency drives, an air-conditioned controls building, two 1.5-million-gallon storage tanks, a mechanical bar screen, chemical feed and odor-control facilities, a standby generator, an asphalt access road, yard piping, gravity sewer connections with bypass planning, and approximately 31,000 linear feet of 18-inch force main. The selected CMAR will support constructability reviews, scheduling, open-book cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, subcontracting plans, GMP development, and construction-phase project management. The proposal requires qualifications demonstrating recent wastewater pump station or force main experience, including projects of similar size and scope, collaborative delivery experience, qualified personnel, safety performance, references, proposed fees, construction approaches, subcontracting plans, and acceptance or exceptions to the agreement and general conditions. The project may use State Revolving Fund and other public funding and is subject to applicable federal requirements, including Davis-Bacon labor standards, Build America, Buy America, and American Iron and Steel provisions.
