Description

Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC, operating Fermilab, is soliciting competitive proposals for cleaning Science Computing Division data centers at the Feynman Computing Center, Grid Computing Center, and Wilson Hall Fiber Central Room 805. The scope includes semi-annual above-floor cleaning and annual underfloor plenum cleaning, with the Wilson Hall area cleaned once annually during one of the semi-annual visits. Services include HEPA vacuuming, damp mopping, debris removal, raised-floor tile removal and replacement, cleaning of equipment exteriors and environmental surfaces, and cleaning the sides of accessible overhead cable trays. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, cleaning materials, and supplies. Work must protect sensitive electronic equipment and critical infrastructure, minimize dust, lint, fiber, moisture, and cleaning residues, and avoid interrupting data center operations. Services must be coordinated with Data Center Operations and completed across all facilities within five consecutive business days. The procurement uses a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation, and the technical proposal must address the cleaning approach, safety procedures, staffing and resources, protection of mission-critical environments, and current or past experience in data centers or similarly sensitive facilities. The contract consists of a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods.
