Description
The Village of Lisle is soliciting a contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to clean and seal roadway cracks, voids, and joints up to 2 inches wide using asphalt cement reinforced with polypropylene fibers. Work will occur on various Village streets and includes traffic control, disposal of debris, scheduling, notifications, and compliance with applicable specifications, prevailing-wage requirements, and permits. Bidders must hold an Illinois Department of Transportation Certificate of Eligibility in category 006, Clean and Seal Cracks/Joints. The base contract runs from October 19, 2026, through April 30, 2027, with two optional one-year renewal periods. Estimated quantities include 12,000 pounds of crack-sealing asphalt and one lump-sum traffic-control item. A 5% bid bond or certified/cashier's check is required with the bid; the successful contractor must later provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance. The award will be made to a single lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
