Description
The U.S. Navy requires 72 boat topside lifeline stanchion assemblies for the Trident Refit Facility. The contractor must provide project management, labor, materials, supervision, fabrication, and assembly in accordance with Drawing TRK411-002-14A and the referenced drawings and specifications. Materials must conform to the drawings, welding must use a Government-approved procedure, and each assembly must receive a unique serial number in accordance with MIL-STD-130 and Drawing A2545-1. The stanchions must meet operating and ultimate load requirements of 300 pounds and 450 pounds, respectively. The firm-fixed-price quote must include product specifications, authorized-reseller information if applicable, a quote cover letter, and any exceptions to the solicitation. Required deliverables include 72 stanchion assemblies, acceptance test reports, material certification sheets, and monthly progress reports. Delivery is specified as 120 calendar days after award, while the stated period of performance is 180 calendar days from contract award. The Government will use a lowest-priced-technically-acceptable evaluation and may award on an all-or-none basis.
