Description
Cherokee County is requesting competitive proposals from qualified firms to update its 2022 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The selected consultant will lead a FEMA-compliant planning process; coordinate a planning review team involving public and critical-infrastructure partners; update the risk and vulnerability assessment and mitigation strategy; conduct public and stakeholder engagement; and prepare materials for state and FEMA review, local adoption, final approval, and grant closeout support. The approved total project cost is $73,500, consisting of a $55,125 federal share and an $18,375 County share. A separate $3,675 federal subrecipient-management-cost amount is obligated for eligible County administrative costs and is not part of the consultant fee unless incorporated through a FEMA-approved budget revision. The procurement evaluates both qualifications and price.
