Description
Caddo Parish is soliciting sealed bids for a minimum quantity of four 4-cubic-yard stationary compactors for its Public Works Solid Waste Department. Each unit must be completely assembled, mounted, adjusted, and ready for continuous operation upon delivery. The compactors must meet ICC-SC-400 or equivalent specifications, include a minimum 15- or 20-horsepower electrical motor and hydraulic system, provide the specified operating and safety features, comply with ANSI Z245.21, and be UL listed. Each unit must include a 15-foot container guide island and two complete, bound sets of operations and maintenance manuals upon delivery. Minimum warranties are one year structural, two years parts, and one year labor. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting the specifications. Pricing must include delivery, freight prepaid, and applicable taxes. The official bid form requires the bidder to identify the manufacturer and model, provide unit and extended pricing, warranty information, freight pricing, company details, addenda acknowledgment, and an authorized signature.
