Description
DeSoto Parish School District is seeking leased lit or dark fiber services for a wide area network connecting 13 eligible entities, with proposed bandwidth options of 20, 40, and 100 Gbps and resilient network alternatives. The solution must provide dedicated, full-bandwidth connectivity, support multiple protocols and quality-of-service tagging, include necessary eligible hardware and interfaces, and provide network diagrams, equipment details, outage escalation procedures, and performance certification. The District expects 99.999% uptime and a fully operational network by July 1, 2027. The District is also requesting pricing for 10 Gbps and 20 Gbps Internet access at two data centers, including a /27 IP block for each. Proposals must address pricing, implementation, technical support, references and experience, network design, service-provider facilities, E-Rate participation, and applicable billing requirements. Vendors must submit the required cover sheet, non-collusion form, table of contents, pricing forms, and proposal materials; special-construction forms are required if applicable.
