Description
The Town of Waxhaw is soliciting formal sealed bids for approximately 0.44 miles of Kensington Drive corridor improvements from NC-16 to Connells Point Avenue. The work includes grading, drainage, paving, and utility improvements, with bids accepted on a unit-price and lump-sum basis. A bid security equal to 5% of the contract sum is required in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, cash, or a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina. Bidders must hold all licenses required by state law. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, subject to Town Board and North Carolina Department of Transportation approval. The official bid package is available through Duncan Parnell, and no pre-bid conference will be held.
