Description
The City seeks removal and replacement of metal doors and frames at four openings: three at its wastewater treatment plant and one at a pump station. The work includes supplying and installing fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) doors and frames, including single and double doors, windows, and a transom where specified. The contractor must verify field dimensions and provide the scheduled hardware, including closers, hinges, thresholds, sweeps, gasketing, latches, and exit devices. The bid requires a bid guaranty of at least 5% of the proposal amount. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds totaling 100% of the contract price and insurance. The bid package also requires a lump-sum price and specified bid forms and affidavits. Work must be completed within 60 working days after written notice to proceed.
