Description
The Greater Portland Transit District is soliciting bids for a net fixed price on dyed ultra-low sulfur diesel motor fuel. The selected supplier must provide approximately 7,500 gallons per delivery on an on-call basis, with pricing options for 100,000, 200,000, and 300,000 gallons. Deliveries must be made by metered tank truck to the District's storage tank, accompanied by dated metered tickets, with dip-stick verification before and after delivery. For deliveries from December 15, 2026, through March 15, 2027, the required blend is 80% diesel and 20% kerosene, subject to possible adjustment by agreement based on winter conditions. The fuel must meet applicable federal, state, and local requirements, and shipping papers, bills of lading, and invoices must state: "DYED DIESEL FUEL, NON-TAXABLE USE ONLY, PENALTY FOR TAXABLE USE." The bid package requires a signed proposal, price proposal, subcontractor information if applicable, debarment certification, lobbying-restrictions certification, acknowledgment of federal clauses, and acknowledgment of addenda.
