Description
The Town of Ramapo is soliciting proposals for as-needed fencing installation, replacement, maintenance, and repair services. The scope includes black vinyl-coated chain-link fencing at heights of 4, 5, 6, and 8 feet; installation of line and terminal posts in concrete; additional materials; and hourly labor rates for installers and apprentices. The contractor must provide all tools, equipment, labor, material disposal, and prevailing-wage labor rates where applicable. Services include routine and emergency repairs, with emergency calls requiring a technician to be on site within three hours and a staffed office available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Work is generally scheduled Monday through Friday during daytime hours, requires advance notice and Town authorization, and must be performed by appropriately licensed personnel. The contract is for one year beginning November 19, 2027, with an option for one additional mutually agreeable year. The proposal must include the prescribed pricing and vendor forms, a sworn statement of ability and experience, and the required equipment certificate.
