Description
The National Human Genome Research Institute intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Aquaneering LLC to retrofit and expand an existing aquatic housing system. The work will convert eight underutilized genotyping rack positions to standard zebrafish housing, providing capacity for 828 standard-sized tanks and more than 25,000 additional zebrafish; tanks are excluded from the acquisition. The requirement includes three 60-inch and one 50-inch double-sided central-filtration racks, containment catch trays, water manifolds, modular gutters and downspouts, flexible tubing, and a custom supply-and-return retrofit plumbing kit. All components must be compatible with the existing Aquaneering central-filtration system, plumbing interfaces, facility tanks, approved room layout, and isolation points. The work also includes replacing an existing rack row and relocating two existing racks. Interested firms may submit a capability statement demonstrating that they can satisfy the specified equipment, compatibility, plumbing, and relocation requirements.
