Description
Henry County Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a managed leased lit fiber Layer 2 wide area network connecting a designated hub at Henry County Middle School with four remote locations. The required service includes provider-furnished facilities and equipment, installation, activation, maintenance, proactive monitoring, 24/7/365 support, incident response, escalation, and service restoration. Bidders must price 2 Gbps and 10 Gbps options for the three required remote sites, plus 500 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps options for the variable annex site; optional 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps annex configurations are also requested. The proposal must address network design, handoffs, service levels, implementation and transition, testing, E-Rate compliance, pricing, subcontractors or affiliated carriers, and required references. The initial contract term is five years beginning July 1, 2027, with up to five additional one-year renewal terms. The annex circuit may be omitted or discontinued with 60 days' written notice without affecting the remaining services. Proposals must be submitted electronically by email and must include the district's required appendices, pricing schedules, compliance matrix, exceptions schedule, reference form, certifications, and evidence checklist.
