Description
The Stockton Port District is soliciting professional electrical engineering services to support renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, battery energy storage, and port electrification initiatives. The scope includes photovoltaic system engineering; design of approximately 46 charging stations, including 38 direct-current fast chargers and eight Level 2 stations; battery energy storage systems of approximately 0.5 MWh and 1 MWh; and power infrastructure for two mobile harbor cranes at 4,000-volt service. The consultant will prepare electrical calculations, studies, single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, permitting and bid documents, specifications, design drawings, project schedules, utility coordination, agency responses, construction support, and project management reports. The anticipated contract is three years with two one-year extension options, subject to a maximum five-year term, and the work is funded through the EPA Clean Ports Program. Proposals must address federal requirements including 2 CFR Part 200, FHWA 1273, Build America, Buy America, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, and applicable insurance requirements.
