The planned Federal Acquisition Regulation-based solicitation for AN/SLQ-25E NIXIE production follow-on work under Notice IDs N0025325R7004 and N0025326R7003 has been cancelled. No FAR-based solicitation or Request for Proposals will be issued under this notice. The revised acquisition strategy is intended to address manufacturing maturation, tooling qualification, and obsolescence mitigation before full-rate production. The Government intends to pursue a pre-production prototype project under Other Transaction Authority for Prototype Projects, focused on fabricating and delivering production-representative articles and proof-of-design units, as well as fabricating proof-of-manufacturing units and qualifying pilot-line tooling to achieve Manufacturing Readiness Level 7/8. A competitive Request for Prototype Projects is expected to be released through the Undersea Technology Innovation Consortium. This notice is not a solicitation, and proposals should not be submitted in response.
