Description
The City of Greer is requesting proposals from qualified sports lighting companies for a turnkey retrofit of the existing lighting system at Stevens Field. The work includes design and installation of LED luminaires using the existing light poles, mounting hardware, wiring, aiming hardware, electrical components, secure wireless controls, remote access, monitoring, and removal and disposal of the existing fixtures. The proposed system must meet or exceed IES RP-6-20 sports-lighting standards, provide specified illumination and uniformity levels, control glare and light spill, comply with the City of Greer's UDO Section 5.7, and include engineer-prepared lighting plans, photometric calculations, product cut sheets, and control-system documentation. The contractor must provide a detailed mobilization and construction schedule, maintenance and testing services, ten years of communication and monitoring costs, a minimum ten-year full parts-and-labor warranty, performance guarantees, and commissioning and periodic light-level testing. Work is scheduled for completion between November 16, 2026, and February 1, 2027. Proposals are limited to 30 pages, excluding appendix materials, and must include company qualifications, three relevant references, schedule, technical and control-system capabilities, warranty and lifecycle services, pricing, licenses, insurance information, and the required questionnaire and certifications.
