The U.S. Navy is soliciting repair services for one TRANSMITTER, LIQUID unit, reference number XM-79660-50-6200-O-L and CAGE 034H5. The scope includes receipt of potentially unserviceable material, teardown and evaluation, complete repair or overhaul, inspection and testing, packaging, marking, and final government inspection and acceptance. Offerors must provide estimated full-repair pricing, a firm-fixed-price quote after teardown and evaluation, pricing for a new unit for comparison, teardown and evaluation rates, repair turnaround time, throughput constraints, induction expiration dates, and any exceptions to the requirements. The contractor must complete teardown and evaluation within 90 days after receiving the carcass and submit a firm-fixed-price repair quote. The requested repair turnaround time is 137.787 days. Repaired material must comply with applicable technical requirements, MIL-STD-130 marking, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, mercury-free requirements, and applicable inspection and testing standards. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered; non-OEM offerors must identify the OEM and CAGE code and submit a signed authorization letter on OEM letterhead. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside, and the Government may exercise an option for additional quantity 365 days after award.
