Description
The Barbados Water Authority is seeking quotations for 1,000 potable water meters measuring 3/4 inch/DN 20. The preferred brand is Diehl for integration with existing software. Required features include MID approval at minimum R400, IP68 outdoor suitability, integrated 434 MHz Open Metering System radio communication, mobile and long-range fixed-network reading capability, electronic visual display, leakage and alarm detection, reverse-flow handling, replaceable or suitably rated battery operation, lead-free construction, operation at pressures up to 232 psi, and a minimum 10-year warranty. The meters must comply with the specified OIML, ISO, and BS EN standards and be supported by accredited laboratory test certification. The supplier must provide access radio keys or codes, tailpieces, special maintenance tools, protective packaging, and required testing and inspection support. The submission must include the completed Applicant's Bid Submission Form, Form of Tender/Form of Quotation, quotation, specification response, and applicable business-registration and clearance certificates through the Government of Barbados e-procurement portal.
