Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for two new 4x4 motorized sidewalk broom vehicles for snow removal around facility sidewalks and entrances. Each vehicle must have a diesel engine of at least 24.8 horsepower, a heated enclosed cab, hydrostatic transmission, and a front-mounted, PTO-driven rotary broom at least 48 inches wide, with quick-coupler and four-way articulation capabilities. The specifications also set maximum vehicle dimensions and tire sizes.
