Description
The University of Oklahoma is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to administer its medical stop loss program for active employees, COBRA participants, and pre-65 retirees. The proposed coverage is effective January 1, 2027, with a $750,000 specific deductible and alternative deductible options of $850,000, $950,000, $1 million, and $1.2 million. Proposals must include firm quotes valid through December 31, 2027, and address both 24/12 and 12/12 specific contract bases. The selected vendor will provide stop loss coverage and robust administrative and technical support for approximately 11,721 eligible lives. The program coordinates with BCBS of Oklahoma for medical coverage, Rightway for pharmacy benefits, PeopleSoft for HRIS, and ZERO Health's bundled-payment marketplace. Respondents must submit the signed non-disclosure agreement by October 27, 2026, to receive census data and the vendor questionnaire, and must complete the University's questionnaire and required proposal responses through the procurement event.
