Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capability information for a potential five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract supporting the life-cycle maintenance and catastrophic recovery of WSR-88D weather-radar radomes. The scope includes internal and external inspections, engineering evaluations, installation and repair, catastrophic replacement, OEM parts and materials, engineering data and engineering change proposals, packaging and shipment, and possession, inventory, care, and relocation of Government-furnished radome kits and equipment. Work would support approximately 160 operational radar systems across the United States and selected overseas locations. Contractors must use OEM CPI ESSCO parts and technical requirements for Model S38-90, Part Number 8531-1 radomes; perform repairs on towers unless otherwise directed; provide reports, certifications, health and safety plans, quality control, site restoration, and emergency response to catastrophic events within 24 hours of notification. The notice is for market research only, and no formal solicitation or PWS attachments are currently provided.
