Description
Central Piedmont Community College is soliciting proposals for a vendor to operate managed bookstore services both onsite and online. The selected vendor must operate at least two physical bookstores, including locations at the Central and Levine campuses, and provide online ordering, fulfillment, customer support, deliveries, smart-locker fulfillment, and bookstore operations. The scope includes physical, used, rental, digital, and custom course materials; equitable access support for curriculum courses; continuing-education course-material support; textbook adoption and analytics systems; integration with Ellucian Colleague, FA-Link, the learning management system, and related enterprise systems; college-branded merchandise; convenience items; graduation products; course packs; and other bookstore merchandise. The vendor must provide implementation and transition planning, technical and cybersecurity documentation, architecture diagrams, disaster-recovery and business-continuity information, financial reporting, references, financial statements, pricing and commission proposals, and required insurance documentation. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewals, and the solicitation establishes an indefinite-quantity agency-specific contract.
