Description
The New York State Office of Mental Health, on behalf of the Nathan S. Kline Institute, is soliciting bids for one new, all-inclusive molecular qPCR analyzer capable of fully automated COVID/flu PCR, CT/NG PCR, and HCV/PCR testing. The system must support one shift six days per week, include analytical equipment, dedicated computers and printers, barcode reading, bidirectional interfacing with the Cerner Millennium laboratory information system, result storage, and multiple assay capabilities. The contract also includes all reagents, calibrators, quality-control materials, consumables, disposables, replacement parts, printer supplies, shipping, installation, validation, staff training, interface assistance, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, technical support, and a purified-water system. The vendor must provide factory and on-site training for four operators and support ongoing operation, maintenance, and equipment updates. Pricing is on a cost-per-kit basis, with fixed prices and no escalation during the contract term.
