Description
NASA's Technology Transfer Program is soliciting expressions of interest from companies seeking exclusive or nonexclusive license rights, potentially limited to specific fields of use, for the Space Link Extension Return Channel Frames (SLE-RCF) software library, identified as GSC-TOPS-72. NASA will provide no funding in connection with the potential licenses, and no follow-on procurement is expected from this notice. The software enables mission control centers to receive telemetry frames and status messages from ground stations using the CCSDS-defined SLE-RCF protocol. It processes user requests, decodes and encodes protocol messages, transfers them over an underlying transport such as TCP, accepts configuration directives, and triggers callback routines for incoming data. The reusable library is intended to support standardized, interoperable spacecraft mission-control applications and reduce the need for custom communications designs.
