Description
The British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture and Food is establishing a Multi-Use List of qualified suppliers for crop and plant loss adjusting and inspection services involving tree fruit and grapes. Services will be provided on a non-exclusive, as-needed basis through future Competition Notices; only qualified suppliers may compete for those assignments. The scope includes evaluating crop and plant losses and conducting related inspections in British Columbia. The opportunity evaluates supplier and, where applicable, proposed subcontractor or employee qualifications. Qualified resources may be required to perform the services under contracts resulting from future competitions. The posting states that work may be performed remotely and identifies delivery regions including Cariboo, Central Kootenay, Central Okanagan, Columbia-Shuswap, East Kootenay, Fraser Valley, Okanagan-Similkameen, Thompson-Nicola, South Okanagan, Grand Forks, Creston Valley, and Vancouver Island.
