Description
Lake Travis Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, leased lit fiber Internet access solution using Ethernet over fiber, with bandwidth options of 10 Gbps, 15 Gbps, and 20 Gbps. The service will terminate at the district’s data center for use across district locations and must include installation, activation, initial configuration, maintenance, and technical support. Proposals should address bandwidth scalability, separate eligible and ineligible costs, comply with applicable E-Rate and Texas Education Agency purchasing requirements, and include voluntary extension options unless the service is month-to-month. Special construction charges, if applicable, should include an option for installment payments over up to four years. The solicitation requires completion of the attached “Lake Travis_C1 Vendor attachment” form. Evaluation considers price, vendor and service reputation, quality, fit with school needs, past relationship, long-term cost, and compliance with federal program rules.
