The U.S. Navy's NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support is soliciting a contractor to repair, overhaul, upgrade, test, inspect, and return satellite terminals to Ready for Issue condition. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, parts, materials, tooling, and test equipment necessary for the work, including component repair or replacement, reassembly, testing, inspection, packaging, storage, and shipment. The requirement identifies Terminal, Satellite, part number 1252-A-3420-07, NSN 7RH 5895 200093109 P8, and references EMS Technologies Canada Ltd. drawing 1252-A-3420-07, revision latest. The work must be performed at the contractor's identified facility in accordance with the applicable drawings, repair manuals, and technical publications. The contractor must meet a required repair turnaround time of 39 days after receipt, report asset transactions through the Commercial Asset Visibility system, establish throughput constraints, maintain ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100-compliant quality controls and an acceptable calibration system, and obtain Government approval for specified changes. The solicitation also requires handling of beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, and over-and-above repair conditions, as well as Government inspection and acceptance.
