Description
The City of Jacksonville, Illinois, is soliciting sealed bids for painting the Jacksonville Veterans Park 1.5-million-gallon elevated water storage tank. The work generally includes spot blasting and painting damaged coating areas on both the interior and exterior of the tank, along with other miscellaneous tank improvements. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms furnished by the owner's project engineer and must include the bidder's signature. The successful contractor must pay prevailing wages for the applicable craft or type of worker. Contract documents include drawings and technical specifications; a pre-bid meeting will include discussion of the bidding requirements, questions regarding the plans and specifications, and a visit to the proposed construction area.
